About the role

The 1-Day Shower Installer is responsible for the efficient, accurate, and professional installation of shower systems in residential homes. This position is focused on completing quality shower installations within a single day while maintaining company standards for craftsmanship, cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is experienced in residential remodeling, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a variety of hand and power tools. This is a hands-on position that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

What you would do

• Install shower systems, fixtures, and related components according to manufacturer specifications and company standards
• Prepare work areas for installation, including measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling materials
• Ensure shower components are properly aligned, secured, sealed, and finished
• Complete installations efficiently and within the designated one-day timeframe
• Inspect completed installations for proper fit, finish, functionality, and quality
• Make necessary adjustments or corrections to ensure a professional finished product
• Follow established installation procedures and company quality standards
• Perform necessary preparation and removal work prior to installation
• Complete caulking, trim carpentry, drywall repair, and minor restoration work as needed
• Safely and properly use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation
• Protect customer property and minimize disruption to the homeowner
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners
• Explain the installation process and answer customer questions appropriately
• Address customer concerns and communicate any issues to the Project Manager or appropriate team member
• Maintain a clean, professional job site and leave the customer's home in excellent condition
• Represent Midwest Exteriors positively at every customer interaction
• Coordinate with Project Managers and team members to ensure installations are properly prepared and completed on schedule
• Confirm required materials and equipment are available before beginning installation
• Document project progress and completion using company systems
• Utilize construction management and project tracking software, including
• Communicate project issues, material concerns, or changes to management promptly
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

What you need

• Previous experience with shower installation or residential remodeling required
• Strong understanding of residential remodeling and construction practices
• Experience with shower systems, fixtures, and remodeling installations
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials
• Strong understanding of proper installation techniques and waterproofing practices
• Ability to read and follow installation instructions, schematics, and technical drawings
• Proficiency with common hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
